“Our bodies are our gardens – and our wills are our gardeners.”
Food is medicine.
The body is an amazing healer. We simply need to give the body what it needs, have patience, and allow the time to achieve great things. Often we prolong poor habits even though they are cutting off the body from it’s important work. Processed convenience foods, medications and NSAID’s, too much caffeine, refined sugar, and alcohol all burden the systems in our bodies that are responsible for keeping us well. Ensuring these systems, or foundations, are supported is the first priority.
The body heals and thrives through a whole food approach, harnessing the nutrient density in real, high quality foods. In nutritional therapy, we align our mind and body to work toward the ideal health of the whole being. We may question what stands in the way of full health, create actionable steps that lead to long term goals, and listen to the body’s innate wisdom.
No longer must you rely on restrictive diets or endure distracting symptoms and brain fog. Once we strengthen the defenses and finally heal, we return to wholeness.
how I support my clients
Uncover Your Foundations
Over time, we may hide from important signs and chronic symptoms; we may become complacent, ignore them, and keep busy. This digs us deeper into the hole of poor habits and dissolving health. The work we’re here to do is unearth the foundations to vibrant health. One must acknowledge where they are in their journey and, like an archaeologist, begin to dust off and rediscover these pillars of health.
The process of building resilience must include becoming aware of common stressors, building from strong foundations, and finding appropriate ways to challenge and nourish oneself.
Sharpen Your Goals
We work to get clarity on your purpose, your passions, and your “why.” If you could live symptom free, how would your life change?
Consider what your life would look like in 5 years if you were to change. What steps will bring you closer to achieving your goals? How would your goals change if you lived in full health?

Answers to Your Questions
What is functional nutrition?
We look at questionnaires and other forms to analyze symptoms and habits. With this information, we can make diet and lifestyle changes in the direction of strengthening the foundations to health, never prescribing medication or diagnosing.
